The Teenage Engineering PO-35 Speak is a portable vocal synthesizer and sequencer that allows you to record, warp, and sequence your own voice using eight unique synthesis engines.

 

Description:

 

Part of the Pocket Operator series, the PO-35 Speak features a built-in microphone for instant vocal sampling and 120 seconds of sample memory. It resynthesizes recorded audio into speech parameters—such as pitch, formant, and envelope—allowing you to manipulate it into various "vocoder-style" effects while maintaining high-quality sound. The device includes a 16-step sequencer and 16 pattern slots, along with an integrated single-channel version of the PO-32 Tonic drum synthesizer, enabling you to build complete, unique beats with percussion layered over your warped vocal tracks.

  • Jam Sync and Portability: Connect multiple Pocket Operators together using 3.5mm sync cables to create a synchronized "pocket band," all powered by two AAA batteries with a one-month battery life.

  • Extra Features: Includes an animated LCD display, folding wire stand, built-in speaker, and a breakaway lock tab for permanent pattern protection.
